Islands

Year: 2021-

A drawing born by chance, sketching  lost in thought during a zoom call.

A drawing with closed lines, drawn slowly (reasoning), forced to follow the previous line (settling), imperfect.

Infact, every line is different from the previous one, and every line is not strong enough: together they make a whole, beautiful, island.

Isaia 40, 15

Surely the nations are like a drop in a bucket;
they are regarded as dust on the scales;
he weighs the islands as though they were fine dust.

We are islands, all different in shape and color, to be discovered or already discovered, wild or not, with our heights and depths.

We are islands, now. But every now and then we join some other island, also alone in this sea that unites us, and we form beautiful archipelagos.
